Colonial Downs STAKES

Purse $250,000. One And One Eighth Miles. (Inner turf) (Rail at 30 feet) For Three Year Old Fillies. No nomination fee. $625 to enter and $625 to start. Supplementary nomination of $2,500 (which includes entry and starting fees) may be made at the time of entry. $250,000, with 60% to the owner of the winner, 20% tosecond, 11% to third, 6% to fourth and 3% to fifth. Weight: 122 Lbs. Non-winners of a graded stake at a mile or over on the turf allowed 2 Lbs.; a sweepstakes at a mile or over on the turf, 4 Lbs. Starters and riders to be named through the entry box bythe usual time of closing. This race will be limited to fourteen (14) starters. In the event more than fourteen entrants pass through the entry box, preference will be given to graded stakes winners (in order I-II-III), then horses that have finished secoond or third in a graded stake, then highest turf earnings. Any horse excluded due to the aforementioned preference shall be refunded the entry fee and supplementary nomination fee, if applicable. Trophy to the winning owner. Nominations closed Wednesday,August 20, 2025 with 34 nominations. .
